Moorends Miners Welfare MUGA

The aim of the project is to provide the young people of Thorne, Moorends and surounding villages a place to congregate and not cause nuisance to local residents elsewhere in the village. The design of the scheme will include the provision of a number of different sports including football, basketball and cricket. The design will also include the provision of youth seating, litter bins and floodlighting.

WREN funding is sought towards the installation of the equipment and tarmac surfacing
