Moorlands Estate Community Nature Garden

This project will implement sustainable environmental improvements to a currently unused overgrown and locked up nature garden located in a deprived neighbourhood creating a valuable public amenity. This site is identified in the Lambeth Unitary Development Plan and in the London and Lambeth Biodiversity Action Plans as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. The improvements will be designed in response to community consultation, and will result in a sustainable community nature garden of increased biodiversity in which local residents are able to grow vegetables and participate in environmental education activities
