Moortown RUFC – Tiddlers Rugby

Moortown RUFC actively encourages children from the age of 6 to take up rugby and currently has around 60 youngsters under the age of 9 taking part. The Tiddlers (those between age 6 and 9 years) have an area of land at the back of the club for training and playing on but this consists of hard, compacted earth with large bald patches and weeds. The project aims to improve the surface of the site. The work would involve the removal of the existing vegetation, inserting land drains and gravel banding, topsoiling, harrowing, levelling, reseeding and fertilising.
