Moray Public Footpath Protection Scheme Phase 4

To maintain and improve public footpaths in Moray through the laying of a protective woodchip medium. The woodchips which are made from timber removed from the landfill waste stream will reduce erosion and enable public access. All of the paths are within 10 miles of a landfill site and are identified by local communites as requiring attention. Woodchips will be applied by Adults with Learning Difficulties as part of a training scheme.
