The Forest of Dean is a UK bat hotspot. We will re-introduce conservation grazing to Stender’s Quarry to benefit horseshoe bats by conducting capital works to secure the site, enabling safe livestock movement, improving a tunnel for bat roosting and bringing in grazing sheep to improve foraging habitat.
