Morebattle Village Hall – Entrance Roof Replacement

Morebattle Village Hall building, in the conservation area, dates back to the late 19th Century and has a single-storey entrance hall which also houses the toilets (including disabled). This substantial structure has a flat roof with raised parapet. This project seeks to replace the flat roof with a new double-skin, insulated, zinc pitched roof structure and associated drainage downpipes. This will make the toilets’ area much warmer and more comfortable for users, and will solve current problems from build-up of snow every winter, which then has to be cleared by hand from the roof itself, inevitably causing damage and leaks.
