Mossland Connect

The Mossland Connect project is centred on three sites in the Manchester Mosslands SAC. This is a landscape scale project, which will deliver a programme of bog restoration works, that will lead to the sustainable reintroductions of key globally important species historically found on the mosslands and which are totally reliant on the habitat and are found nowhere else. Expanding on phase one of the species reintroduction project, whilst at the same time working with the local community to improve access and trial alternative land uses on buffering agricultural land as a more environmentally friendly farming method.
