Moston Brook and Tips - Access Improvements

Moston Brook and Tips is a strategically important green space corridor that spans the border of Oldham and Manchester. A feasibility study and masterplan has been undertaken to provide a strategic vision for the area and progress its aim of creating a river valley corridor of regional importance. This project fits in with the overall aims for Moston Brook and Tips and through working with partners will: • Improve entrance ways • Resurface poor sections of the path network • Manage and enhance existing habitats • Create fishing pegs on the canal • Work with volunteers to restore seating areas
