Motherwell Islamic Centre Disabled Access

The centre is based in an urban area with few local amenities. It was established in 2008 to serve the need for a local place for people to meet socially. The Centre also has a prayer room that is used as a place of worship for local Muslims. Anyone, regardless of race or creed is welcome to use the facilities at the centre. Access to the upper floor is via some stairs and elderly or disabled people are having difficulty with these stairs. This proposal involves the installation of a stairlift to ease access to the upper level.
