Motherwell South Parish Keystone Project

The grant will contribute towards the £418,000 cost of installing: • A full catering kitchen to accommodate a community café and hire of facilities by the local community; • Refurbishment of existing facilities to create a games hall and meeting room; and • Install toilet facilities suitable for everyone to use. The project will specifically: • Contribute to the development of a new community facility that will become a vibrant focal point and meeting place for the local community; • Improve access to facilities for everyone including people with disabilities; • Increase the number of users of the facility; • Increase the number of uses of the facility; • Improve access to facilities for volunteering purposes; • Increase the number of volunteering opportunities; • Improve the health & wellbeing of local people; • Provide a safe and secure environment for users; and • Sustain the facility for current and future generations.
