Mount Eagles Wildlife & Habitat Initiative

The project will complement the extension of the existing native tree planting on the upper section of Lagmore Glen at Mount Eagles. This will comprise of Hazel, Oak, Alder, Rowan, Birch and Willow tree species. In addition to the planting of a wildflower meadow strip will be woodland plant species, such as Bluebells, Fox Gloves, Wood Sorrel, Dog Rose and Speedwell. The Wildflower meadow would include, though not exclusively, Tormentil, Common Vetch, Bird’s foot trefoil, Horesehoe Vetch, Clover Broom, Stork’s bill, Bluebells, Orchids, Yellow Iris and Wild Daffodill.
