Mouse-ears on the summit – Phase III

Mouse ears on the Summit- phase III, is the final part of an innovative and exciting project to enhance Sharnbrook Summit Nature Reserve near Souldrop in north Bedfordshire. The work will directly protect the endangered wildlife living there, including grey mouse-ear, a very rare species that exists at only two other sites in the UK, none of which has any protection. Local people will be encouraged to get involved along with staff from the nearby RWE npower operation at Little Barford, in conservation work and monitoring.
