Muir Wood Park

Refurbishment of play area in city park. It is proposed that some additional equipment should be added to increase play value and to appeal to a wider age range. Suggested equipment will be a net roundabout and small net unit with slide. Surfacing will be bark chipping and a new path will also be created to link the play area with the woodland area, encouraging play to extend into exploration of the woods and natural environment. The existing play area with new equipment may be re-aligned to ensure that safe distances between the play area and path are maintained.
