Mullaghanagh Lane (Cottagequinn) Cycle Path Development

This is a major project aimed at linking a pedestrian and cycle path from Dungannon Park to the bottom of Dungannon Town and into Dungannon West. It requires developing private rough lanes, plus improving and landscaping existing paths. This completed project, could run into the region of £300,000.
It is hoped that work will commence this financial year 2009. The land the council is proposing to purchase is approx 1.5 miles long. It has a further benefit in that as part of the agreed sale will be unrestricted Right of Way over a further part of a lane that has difficulties gaining landowners consent.
