Multi-Use Games Area

Following the completion of our new village hall and children’s play area in 2013 we are now planning to install a multi-use games area (MUGA) at the rear of the village hall site. This was included in the original village hall project scope but we weren’t able at the time to raise the necessary funds.

The MUGA will measure 20m x 12m and will include two goal ends with basketball hoops and cricket wickets. There will be a chicane entrance at the side, connected to the paving at the rear of the village hall by a tarmac path. The side fencing will be 1m high and there will also be 1.2m wide entrances through each goal recess to protect safety and ensure accessibility. There will be no charges and no booking system except for communal events, fetes etc.
