Projects / Multi-use Space within the Walled Garden

Multi-use Space within the Walled Garden

Behind the Museum is a derelict, unused walled garden which has never been open to the public. The Friends of the Museum in conjunction with its officers plan to renovate and open this space for public use. This project will see the construction of an innovative, modern and environmentally friendly multi-use space which will be used to hold events, run workshops and host school visits and activities. The focus of this space will be the environment and the history of the walled garden. The space will enable the garden to be in use throughout the year, it will be free to enter and will match the Museum’s current opening hours.
