Mundles Park – Our Special Place

Mundles Park is our communities special but underused and poorly resourced recreation space. We want to transform this vital community asset into an inspiring and exciting safe play area for everyone to enjoy.Our project will deliver:•An exciting welcoming, interactive freeplay area for children up to the age of 7 within a safe green space.•A multi generational recreation amenity where the whole community can play, explore and learn together.•Seating areas with traditional benches and picnic tables to encourage visitors to stay, relax and enjoy being out of doors.have designed our play area to harmonise with the surrounding countryside and our new mini wildflower meadow. We have selected features that reflect elements of the natural environment e.g. bumble bee mounds, creature springers, sunflower roundabout etc.
