My Space? Our Space! – Derby Student Greenspace Project

Students from the university and local colleges to form a group and look to carry out an environmental project at Nutwood and Darley Tip LNR in Derby with Mentoring Support from BTCV. This project would link with Derby City Council and the Nutwood and Derby Tip Management Group. This newly designated LNR requires the design and installation of several pieces of infrastructure to make the site attractive to new visitors.
The project would aid the young people to be heavily involved and give them an insight to community work, project management and practical issues such as land management. This is in addition to the many individual benefits they would obtain through their involvement.
