My Space? Our Space ! – Growing People, places and spaces (Central Wakefield)

The project will work with groups of young people, offering a number of diversionary activities to build up relationships and trust. Young people will take part in a number of workshops carrying out environmental projects. These works will include habitat and landscape management, creating a wildflower meadow using plants they have grown themselves. They will look at ground rules for young people on how to use their environment in a more environmentally and socially aware manner. Working with an Environmental artist they will design notice boards and have them printed and erected. To be able to provide a safe positive environment for young people at times when they may be vulnerable to anti social behaviour.
