My Space? Our Space ! – Whole Lotta Holton Lea

The programme will be made up of various projects, linked thematically, done by young people with disabilities and young people wishing to improve the facilities for and prospects of young people with disabilities.
Practical improvements will take place within the grounds of Holton Lea, which contains a great variety of habitats including heath, grassland, woodland in various degrees of quality and ponds. On the whole the condition of the site is pretty good, but there is plenty of room for improvement, including ongoing habitat maintenance, new habitat creation, hedge laying, nest box making and installation, and then possibly establishment, planting, management and harvesting of organic vegetables.
