My Space? Our Space ! – Youth Green Action Gateshead

This project will improve the variety and quality of environmental habitats at Bill Quay Community Farm in Gateshead. The farm is managed by Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council as a resource for community learning and development. It is located in an urban environment, so habitat development is crucial for maintaining wildlife corridors. We will engage young volunteers (aged 16-24 years ) to undertake the work, which will provide them with health benefits and personal development opportunities.
The site is very accessible for Communities across Gateshead and so the environmental enhancement improvements will be widely available for public appreciation.
