My Space? Our Space! – Youth Green Action Killhope

This project will improve the variety and quality of environmental habitats at Killhope Leadmining Museum, in Upper Weardale. The site is managed by Durham County Council as a resource for youth and community learning and development. It is located in the North Pennines AONB and contains several important habitats for endangered wildlife including Red Squirrels and Black Grouse.
We will engage young volunteers (aged 16-24 years ) to undertake the work, which will provide them with health benefits as well as personal development and learning opportunities.
