National Collections Centre

Creation of a new facility at the Science Museum storage site in Swindon to store and make available to the public previously inaccessible national heritage objects. The 16 acre building is designed to regenerate a brownfield site making it more appropriate for its designation as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It will improve the environmental performance of the Science Museum, increase biodiversity on site, and create a new community, education and heritage facility for the people of Swindon and the South West
