Nature Conservation Development - Myatt's Fields Park

The development of a nature conservation area in the park, providing woodland planting and replacing self seeded plants with native plants; planting the pond; providing new hedgerow plants, maintaining an orchard. Our Park Manager has created a 5 year conservation area management plan, which includes developing meadow grass, wetland, eastern hedgerow boundary, western woodland boundary, orchard and native bulb zones. All this will be done with the involvement and help of local schoolchildren and other volunteers.
