Nature for napier

The Nature for Napier project at Napier Gardens will improve the pond and surrounding area of the gardens for both wildlife and the public. The project will involve St Mark’s School, the local community, the Backwater Valley Countryside Partnership and Rushmoor Borough Council.

Interpretation panels and a nature quiz trail will be designed and installed, based on information collected on site by the pupils of St Mark’s School.

The local community will help plant wildflowers around the pond to increase the overall biodiversity. Finally, installation of picnic tables will encourage the local community to use the site as a recreational space.
