Naunton Court Arable Plants Restoration

Purchase and restoration of a nationally important 16.6 hectare arable plant site at Nauton Court. To increase the extent and range of nationally critically endangered and vulnerable arable plants, including shepherds needle, corn buttercup, stinking chamomile and rye brome. Historically part of an important area for arable plants. In recent years the fields have been less sympathetically managed, with no headlands or significant unsprayed margins, as a result there has been a loss of species quantity and diversity.
