Neigh Bridge Country Park Improvements 2013-14

Neigh Bridge Country Park is situated in the Cotswold Water Park, adjacent to the village of Somerford Keynes the park is and always has been a very popular site all year round for families, dog walkers, and birdwatchers.
The park is managed by Cotswold Water Park Trust, but insufficient funds and other priorities have meant that this site has fallen into a state of neglect over the past few years. There are some very basic toilet facilities on site, but these are currently unusable. A basic playground was installed at least fifteen years ago, and is not in a very safe condition.
The Trust is proposing to renovate this public facility by; re-opening the toilet facilities, replacing play equipment, carrying out immediate landscape improvements, installation of new interpretation, purchase a shelter in order to deliver public events at the park throughout the summer, commission a landscape architect to devise a long-term plan for future improvements.
