Nene Valley Community Centre Regeneration

The grant will be used to pay for a number of outdoor activity opportunities for young people and adults. This will include outdoor play equipment, additional trim trails for older age groups and outdoor seating around the area. Each of these developments will enable greater opportunities to be offered to members of the local community through both sporting opportunities and outdoor health improvements, which have been noted as in dire need from the local area. Funding will also be used to purchase outdoor picnic seating which be positioned around this area. Members of the community will greatly benefit from these advancements on site, including member of the youth club, sports clubs and the general local residents. The site will be able to offer more evening activities during darker months in order to increase the number of sporting opportunities available.
