Nene Valley Railway – Refurbishment of Wansford Bracket Signal

The Nene VAlley Railway has traditional signals recovered from British Rail. The signals must be operational and are maintained and are inspected. One of the most important and visible signals, recovered from French Drove station in 1982, has deteriorated and has reached a stage where is it has now been deemed “unmaintainable” and unsafe to climb. The project will bring a specialist signalling contractor (approved by Network Rail) to restore the signal.
