New Artificial Wicket

Rottingdean Cricket Club offers cricket to junior and adult cricketers. There 6 adult teams playing Senior County League, East Sussex League and friendly games. The Club also currently has in excess of 70 junior members of all abilities covering all the age groups and has plans to grow the juniors to around 100 members with an emphasis on recruiting boys and girls who are new to cricket. The Club provides weekly training sessions during evenings or at the weekend run by Level 2 and Level 3 coaches plus coaching assistants (mid April-Sept).

The programme that the Club has for the juniors and seniors puts a lot of pressure on the artificial pitch at the Club which is used extensively for training and Junior matches. With increasing numbers, has come increased usage and the artificial pitch is now in need of renewal. To continue to maintain and improve our Cricket facilities we are looking for funding and support for this project.
