New Arts Crafts & Drama Studio, New Furniture Store and Catering Kitchen Project

Once the new kitchen is installed, the village hall will be properly equipped to accommodate functions such as large scale wedding celebrations for local families and be able to offer hot meals for older people, which could provide a good income and a new service to the community. The other part of this application includes a small extension which will house a arts and drama workshop area and will be accessible independently so that local user groups can hire it for rehearsals, arts and crafts classes, music practice sessions, etc and will not interfere with other activities already taking place in the hall. The space will be utilised by U3A for the arts and crafts group and other activities as a workshop space and by active drama groups including many young people. The new extension area will also house some storage space and will be available as a Green Room during performance taking place on the stage in the main hall.
