New Bells for Old St Martin’s Worcester

First: the old bells will receive a gentle restoration and hung stationary in their existing fittings with new clock hammers and clock mechanism. They will be used for clock chimes, to strike the Angelus and as service bells using modern chiming apparatus and electronic control unit supplied by the Cumbria Clock Company.

Second: John Taylor’s Bell Foundry in Loughborough will cast a ring of ten bells and the weight of the tenor will be approximately six to seven cwt.
