New Bowling Green and Pavilion

The construction of a seven rink bowling green, pavilion and car park to replace the green we have used for over 300 years. The town centre location of the present green does not allow us to accommodate women, young people and persons with disabilities in a suitable environment. We are subjected to regular vandalism and anti-social behaviour by patrons of the night clubs and pubs that surround the premises. The new location on unused land owned by the trustees of Queen Elizabeth’s Endowed School will be a suitable setting to develop our work with young people.
