New Disabled and Children’s Pushchair Access from Car Park to club facilities and Accessible WC, Sevenoaks Rugby Football Club (SRFC)

This is a project to improve access at SRFC through changes to one of the entrances and a reconfiguration to provide an accessible WC.

Outside of rugby, SRFC has extensive community use of the club house, including a Soft Play Café, run by the clubhouse manager, for parents, babies and toddlers up to 5 years old. GB Wheelchair Rugby is also one of the club’s key designated charities and holds regular events at the club.

Access to the club is quite restrictive, especially during winter months, and the project proposes to improve access to the balcony main entrance with pushchairs/wheelchairs via the new pathways with disabled ramps, as well as moving all toilets to the same clubhouse level rather than requiring an awkward trip downstairs.
