New Dutch Barn

The aim of the project is to erect a new Dutch Barn for the storage of hay and straw for the horses kept at The Suffolk Punch Trust. By increasing our storage capacity for hay and straw, we hope to be able to source more of our annual requirement directly from fields after the hay and straw has been cut/harvested and to put it directly into our new barn, without the hay and straw first having to be placed in temporary storage. This should enable us to acquire more of our annual requirement at favourable pricing, and enable us to ensure that it is stored in favourable conditions to maintain its quality.
