New Education and Learning Space at Ditchling Museum

The museum is embarking on a major redevelopment project, central to which is the refurbishment of part of the building, to create a dedicated Education and Learning Space in which the existing programme of activities will have room to expand. The Museum, which will in future be open year round rather than for nine months as is the case at present, aims to become the hub of a thriving creative community. In support of this aim, the new space will transform the Museum’s education and outreach programme, allowing the existing levels of activity to increase radically and addressing the needs of audience groups not currently represented in the programme.
