New Education Space at Walsall Museum

This project involves the redevelopment of a storage room immediately adjacent to the Museum’s first floor gallery in the Central Library building, to create a new dedicated education space for the Museum for use with school groups and for public activity workshops. A new toilet will be installed adjacent to the education space to provide a suitable toilet facility for school groups. The education space will be used to deliver education sessions led by Museum staff to school groups, and a regular programme of open arts and craft activities for adults and children, as well as providing a space for delivering activities and performances linked to special events at the Museum and an area for self-led activities, open to all visitors, linked to exhibitions and displays.
