New Equipment for Chipping Sodbury Cricket Club

The project is two-fold: firstly to purchase new sight screens as this season is has become apparent that the ones in use are no longer safe. The club is also desperately in need of a new scoreboard as the current on is no longer functional. This will be fixed into the side of the umpires’ room. Secondly, COVID has seen a huge increase in the number of people using the site. Everyone is welcome to use the grounds, but have noticed an increase in anti-social behaviour. For this reason, the aim is to install CCTV for the protection of the club and its users, which will hopefully deter future vandalism as it causes unnecessary use of funds and time of the committee.
