New Ferry Foreshore

The New Ferry Regeneration action group (NFRG) have worked hard to secure funding to carry out a first phase of improvements. The second phase of work will provide a range of volunteering opportunities that will complement the hard work already undertaken by the group. All work will be carried out by local volunteers who will receive training and support from experienced Groundwork staff. The first phase of the work included footpath improvements, reconstruction of gabions and fencing repairs. The second phase of work will include: New footpath link Woodland management Disabled access controls Events area - installing 3 benches Creating a wetland area New fencing along footpaths.
