New Machinery for Shire Cricket Club

Shirehampton Cricket Club is responsible for the maintenance of 3 and half acres of recreational land that is owned by the National Trust. The area is available 7 days a week for the community to use and isn’t closed off. We are a proud club with the community at the heart of what we do. Unfortunately our mowing equipment has now given up. We are having to borrow (at a cost) equipment from the golf club. Our aim is to replace the mowing equipment and maintain the recreational space for everyone

Any funds awarded will be used to purchase new mowing equipment and tractor so that the field can be mowed safely.

We have taken professional advice from the ECB on the type of mower that is needed for our grounds and the most efficient cut.
