New Moss Wood – Restoring Wetland Habitats

In partnership with the Carbon Landscape Project (CLP) this project seeks support to improve wildlife habitats at New Moss Wood. We will create a small area of lowland raised peat bog, restore wet woodland, create new wetland habitats, and improve existing woodland. Together, our plans will conserve, promote and improve biodiversity and create wildlife friendly space for species such as water vole and willow tit. Additionally, the works will enhance a freely accessible public amenity increasing local community enjoyment and providing more opportunities to experience nature.
