New Roof for 1st Sedgley Scout Hall

The project is to provide a new lightweight tiled roof to replace the existing felt roof which has now reached the end of its life and is deteriorating quickly.

Patch and section repairs/replacements have been carried out for a few years, but a new roof is now needed urgently to secure the building from any further leakage which will cause damage to the internal roof insulation, ceiling and fabric of the building. The lightweight Britmet tiling system replacement will eliminate the continual drain on funds for the felted roof maintenance and will be fitted over the existing roof.
