Roof replacement

The slate roof has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement to prevent serious water ingress and the danger of injury or damage from falling slates. The roof is in a very poor state of repair with missing and displaced slates, cracked and broken coping stones, and vegetation that has taken root in the gaps due to inaccessibility.

The hall is a focal point of meeting in the parish, and the roof repairs will ensure the building remains open for user groups including parent and toddlers, uniformed groups, fellowship meetings, yoga, dance, and a slimming club. The hall is also available for private gatherings and has been called upon to be a homeless shelter in the winter months
