New roundabout for Swannington Play Area

Following significant redevelopment in 2020, this project aims to further enhance the village play area with the addition of an inclusive roundabout. The current piece of equipment dates back to the 1980s, is cumbersome and showing signs of wear and tear, and is repeatedly flagged in annual inspections as falling short of current safety standards. A recent survey demonstrated that 73% of visitors to the play area would welcome an inclusive roundabout as the piece of kit they would most welcome.
