New Spaces-St Andrew’s Rugby

St Andrew’s Church in the town centre of Rugby already had an extensive range of activities in which the public can access the building for refreshment, concerts, drama, exhibitions and public meetings. We also run a soup kitchen for the homeless 3 days a week. However, the facilities we have are very much below standard: The kitchen is too small, there is only one toilet and the coffee bar is situated in the back of the church, the tables have to be stacked behind some pews and it cannot be independently heated. The aim of the project, therefore, is to improve all of these spaces within St Andrew’s thus increasing the use of the building by the public and enhancing their experience once they are there.
