New Training Boat

CSC wishes to purchase a new RS Quest sailing dinghy and Torquedo Auxiliary electric outboard engine to offer training, experience and recreational sailing to both members and others in a 2 handed vessel with both main and foresails.
Our current dinghies only allow for single sail, single handed operation without an instructor being directly in the boat and with the new craft, an instructor will be able provide tuition to helm and crew at the same time.
CSC is a recognised RYA Centre. We welcome groups such as Sailability (for disabled sailor), the RNLI etc. We hold open sailing events and family days for sailing and other waterborne sports. The vessel will add to this.
We have large junior, youth and adult sections who have learned to sail in single handers and are progressing to UK and European Standards. This will further promote their abilities and their opportunities.
The boat will be fully insured and will be equipped in accordance with RYA recommendations.
