New Unity Community Hall, London – Refurbishment (006282)

New Unity (NU) is a non-religious church that firmly believe in good and that there is potential and worth in every person. NU delivers an active programme that focuses on health and well-being, lifelong learning, children and young people, social action, and social justice.

NU welcomes hundreds of people monthly via regular programmes and events and offers free spaces to charities. NU runs The Unity Project which helps vulnerable migrants who have no recourse to public funds through practical support and legal casework. The community is growing; some of those who’ve come for advice are joining the team as volunteers to help others and establish a monthly social group to share experiences and build relationships.

The project will refurbish the community hall that would include a new commercial kitchen expand the programming and serve the community more effectively by opening up new opportunities and exciting partnerships.
