New Visitor Entrance for Maidenhead Heritage Centre

The new visitor centre aims to: * Improve the energy efficiency (temperature and humidity) of the existing building by providing an 'air lock' against ambient weather conditions in summer and winter. * Improve environmental conmditions inside the existing building for visitors and staff. * Provide a permanet ramped entrance for less able visitors. * Enlarge the floorspace available for displays. * Provide a more welcoming entrance and a better visitor experience. * Provide a shop-window to the street where banners, posters etc can be positioned to attract passers-by into the Heritage Centre.
