New Water Efficient and Junior Safe Showers

The project relates to the refurbishment of the mens and ladies showers. These are both of the original 1970’s building design other than a few cosmetic refurbishment and repairs (eg to pipes / tiles). The scope of works includes stripping out all old showers and replacing with new water efficient showers with cubicles. All walls will be retiled, the flooring will be stripped, levelled to aid the flow of water away into the drains rather than ponding and laid with new compliant slip resistant flooring and will include for full redecoration. The facilities will be designed to be compliant for all players, (male, female, seniors, juniors as well as disabled users). Most importantly the works include the installation of cubicles to meet safeguarding and privacy requirements in both shower areas as at present open plan showers represent a risk to the club and its users.
