Newbigging Hall – Building a Sense of Place

The aim of the project is to replace a wooden village hall, beyond viable repair, with a new community building using local materials and local craftsmen wherever possible. The design will incorporate renewable energy sources and be constructed to a high standard of energy efficiency, creating a sustainable building meeting or exceeding current standards.
